About

Stickman explainers, without the week of work

Some of the most-watched explainer channels on YouTube use the simplest possible visuals: a stick figure, a clear question and a calm voice. The drawings are simple. Making one every day is not.

Why we built it

A good stickman explainer needs research, a script that holds attention, a new picture every few seconds, the same character in every scene, narration, captions and an edit. Done by hand that is days per video, or a few hundred dollars per video from a freelancer. That is why most channels in this style post rarely, and why many creators never start.

StickTale does the whole chain in about two minutes, and keeps you in charge of every line and every picture. It does one style, and tries to do it very well.

What we care about

  • Accuracy over punch. Scripts start from research with sources, and an editor pass removes claims the research does not support. A surprising true fact beats an invented one.
  • Stories, not slideshows. Every script has a hook, an open loop and a payoff, so the video feels like one story.
  • Your work is yours. You own every video you make, and your projects stay in your browser. See our privacy policy.
  • Honest comparisons. Our comparison pages say when another tool is the better choice.
