Check facts and sources before you publish

StickTale starts every script from research and checks the script against it, but AI can still be wrong. Five minutes of checking protects your channel’s reputation.

How the facts are made

  1. Research: StickTale searches the web with Google Search and writes notes, keeping a list of the pages it used.
  2. Script: the writer works only from those notes.
  3. Fact-check pass: an editor pass compares the script with the research and removes or softens claims the research does not support. Its rule: accuracy beats punch.

Where to find the sources

The Studio shows how many sources the research found. When you export, the description in the upload kit lists them, so you can open each one and viewers can too.

A five-minute checklist

  1. Check every number and date against a source.
  2. Check every named person, place or study exists and is spelled right.
  3. Look for absolutes (“always”, “never”, “the first”). Soften them unless a source says so.
  4. Check any quote is real and attributed correctly.
  5. For health, money or law topics, make sure the video explains rather than advises.
